Onex Transportation Partners was established in 2022 as a new investment platform with a mandate to capitalize on the large and growing need for investment in transportation assets used for road, rail, air, maritime, and intermodal applications. We expect the strategy will complement our existing private equity platform by seeking out value among essential-use transportation assets. These assets are predominantly supported by strong secular tailwinds and uncorrelated thematic demand drivers, and provide attractive cash yields with downside preservation characteristics.
