David Armstrong

David is responsible for Onex Partners’ efforts in the Software sector. Since joining Onex, David has worked on investments in Imagine Learning (formerly Weld North Education), PowerSchool, Unanet and TMS International. He also worked on the divestiture of The Warranty Group.

David currently serves on the board of PowerSchool Group and Imagine Learning (formerly Weld North Education). David also serves as Vice-Chair of the Covenant House Toronto board.

Prior to joining Onex, David worked in the Investment Banking division of Credit Suisse in Los Angeles.

David holds an Honours Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree (with Distinction) from the University of Western Ontario and an Honours Business Administration degree (with Distinction, Ivey Scholar) from the Ivey School of Business.
