Wes leads Onex Transportation Partners, a new platform focused on investing in transportation-related assets used for land, air, marine and industrial applications.
Wes has more than 22 years of experience financing and investing in transportation assets. Prior to joining Onex, Wes spent nearly 15 years as a Senior Vice President at BBAM LP, the world’s third largest aircraft leasing business and an Onex Partners portfolio company. Wes led BBAM’s capital raising efforts and was an integral part of the senior leadership team that grew the business through the NYSE-listing of Fly Leasing Limited and the establishment of Incline Aviation, one of the world’s first private equity funds dedicated to investing in commercial aircraft on operating lease. Wes started his career at Credit Suisse in 2000 where he was involved in financing efforts across a wide range of transportation assets including aircraft, railcars, vessels and containers.
Wes earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University in Canada.
