About Simon
Simon focuses on investments in the Aerospace & Aviation sector.
Simon joined Onex Partners recently from the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA). He was well known to the Team before joining having collaborated as a co-investor in Advanced Integration Technology and Farsound. He currently serves on the Advanced Integration Technology board and previously served on the board of Farsound.
Prior to joining Onex, Simon was a lead investor for the QIA, in its Industrials and Materials portfolio. He has over 25 years of experience in global industrials, as an investor and top-rated analyst. He was a research analyst at Citi, and Credit Suisse where he led the European Capital Goods franchise.
At the beginning of his career, he was a public equity fund manager with Newton Investment Management.
Simon holds a MFin from London Business School and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Bristol.
