George is a registered advising and dealing representative of Onex Canada Asset Management Inc. ("OCAM") and is also the UDP of OCAM. He is responsible for the high yield, senior credit and direct lending strategies in Canada. He is also responsible for overseeing risk management at Onex Credit, including measuring and monitoring risk across the various product offerings.
Before joining the firm in 2010, George worked at Goldman Sachs in London as an Executive Director in the Interest Rate Products group, managing rate and volatility risk across the various European interest rate curves. He also worked in the energy industry, structuring electricity and gas derivative transactions for the North American markets. Previously, he was a consultant with McKinsey & Company.
George holds an MBA from Stanford University (Arjay Miller Scholar and Alexander A. Robichek Award recipient) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Astrophysics from Harvard University (Summa Cum Laude). He serves as Chair of the Board at Team Rubicon Canada.
