Colin serves as General Counsel of Onex Corporation, overseeing the Firm’s legal strategy, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and risk management functions. Colin offers strategic legal counsel to the executive leadership team and Board of Directors, playing a key role in developing Onex’ operational legal framework and aligning legal strategy with business objectives.
Prior to joining Onex, Colin served as Associate General Counsel for Canada’s largest publicly traded infrastructure development and construction company. Earlier in his career, Colin was a senior associate at Clifford Chance LLP in London, England, specializing in cross-border transactions and finance matters, and an associate at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP in Toronto, Canada, where he focused on corporate, securities and antitrust law.
Colin holds a Juris Doctorate from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
