Charlie is a Principal with Onex Transportation Partners, a new platform focused on investing in transportation-related assets used for land, air, marine and industrial applications.

Charlie brings 15 years of investment experience across private equity, public equity and public debt markets spanning several industries including transportation, equipment leasing, infrastructure, aviation and specialty finance.Prior to Onex, Charlie was a Principal at Two Sigma Investments where his responsibilities included sourcing, executing and managing middle market private equity investments in asset-based equipment leasing and specialty finance businesses. Prior to Two Sigma, Charlie spent five years at Fortress Investment Group on the transportation and infrastructure private equity funds. Charlie also covered airfreight and surface transportation stocks at Wolfe Research and began his career in corporate credit at Putnam Investments.

Charlie holds a B.A. in history and economics from Bowdoin College and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
