Billy focuses on fundraising efforts and broader investment-related activities for Onex’s upper mid-market platform, Onex Partners.
Prior to joining Onex, Billy worked for BP Energy Partners (BPEP) where he supported deal origination, execution, capital formation and served on the board of Encino Environmental Services.
Before BPEP, Billy founded Saltstone Capital Management, a firm focused on investments across the energy value chain and in companies supporting the decarbonization of energy-intensive industries.
Earlier in his career, Billy worked for the late T. Boone Pickens’ investment management firm, BP Capital, where he oversaw both public and private investment strategies as a Portfolio Manager.
He graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Finance from the Culverhouse College of Business at The University of Alabama and is a Claremont Institute Lincoln Fellow.
